What is a full body hot oil massage?
A full body massage means your therapist works your back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, legs, and feet โ top to bottom, no skipped areas. Adding warm aromatic oil makes every stroke smoother and warmer, which helps your muscles let go faster. The combination is one of the most loved services at our walk-in spa on Imperial Hwy in La Habra.
It is the kind of session most people picture when they think of a real spa day. Soft warm lighting, fresh sheets, calm music in the background, and an hour where nothing is asked of you. Susie Oriental Massage Spa keeps the whole experience simple โ one honest price, no membership, no upsell, no surprise add-ons at the table.
Why warm oil makes a real difference
Warm oil does three things you cannot get from a dry massage:
- Smoother glide. Your therapist's strokes flow continuously instead of stopping and starting. The whole session feels smooth and uninterrupted.
- Heat that loosens muscles faster. Warm oil warms the surface of your skin, which helps the muscles below release sooner. Less time warming up means more time on the work that matters.
- Calming aroma. Light unscented or softly aromatic oil adds a sensory layer that pulls your nervous system into rest mode within minutes.
If you are sensitive to scents or oils, just let us know at the front. We can use a fragrance-free option or skip the oil entirely. Many guests with sensitive skin also do well with our standard option, but we always check first to keep things comfortable.
How a full body session flows
A 60 minute hot oil session at our La Habra spa typically goes like this:
- 0 โ 5 min: You change in privacy, lie face down, and we cover you with a clean sheet. Your therapist warms the oil and starts on your back.
- 5 โ 25 min: Long flowing strokes from your shoulders down to your lower back, then across to your hips. This is where most people start to drift off.
- 25 โ 35 min: Backs of legs, calves, and feet. Many guests are surprised how much tension lives in their calves and arches.
- 35 โ 50 min: Flip face up. We work your fronts of legs, hands and arms, and shoulders.
- 50 โ 60 min: Neck, scalp, and a final pass on your shoulders. Most people are nearly asleep by this point.
A good full body session feels less like a treatment and more like a power outage you actually wanted.

Pricing and what is included
Simple pricing, posted at the front, and the same every visit:
- 60 minutes full body hot oil โ $60 โ head-to-toe coverage with warm aromatic oil
- 30 minutes upper body hot oil โ $40 โ focused on back, shoulders, neck, and arms when you are short on time
- Couple full body session โ $120 for two people in our larger private room with two therapists
Everything you need is included โ fresh sheets, warm towels, soft pillow, oil, and calming room. No add-on fees for oil, hot stones lite, or aromatherapy. We accept cash and major credit cards. Cash tips are appreciated and go straight to your therapist, but tips are never required at our spa, ever.
What to wear and how to prepare
Wear whatever is comfortable. Loose clothes are easiest to slip back on after the oil session. For the massage itself, you undress to your comfort level. Most guests keep underwear on, some prefer fully covered, and some go without โ all are normal. Your therapist leaves the room while you change, knocks before re-entering, and keeps you draped with clean sheets the entire time.
A few small things help:
- Try not to eat a heavy meal in the 30 minutes before. A big lunch right before an hour face-down is uncomfortable.
- Drink a glass of water before and after. Massage moves fluid through your body, and water helps.
- If you have a specific sore spot, mention it at check-in. Your therapist will give it extra time.
- Silence your phone. The whole point is to disconnect for an hour.
Walk in vs call ahead
Walk in any day from 9 AM to 10 PM. Most weekday afternoons we have a room ready in under ten minutes. If you want a specific therapist, a specific time slot, or our larger couples room, calling 818-660-6999 ahead is the safest bet. Friday and Saturday evenings are our busiest hours, especially after 6 PM.
If you are coming from Brea, Fullerton, Whittier, or La Mirada and want to make sure a private room is ready when you arrive, a quick phone call saves any wait. There is no booking fee, no deposit, and no cancellation penalty if plans change.
When to book a full body session
The best time for a full body hot oil massage is whenever you can give yourself a real hour without rushing back to anything. The session itself is 60 minutes, plus about ten to fifteen minutes for check-in, changing, and payment. Plan for 80 minutes total at the spa.
Some of the most popular times among our La Habra regulars:
- Friday after work. Pull into the lot at 6 PM, leave by 7:30, and your weekend has officially started. We are open until 10 PM, so even later arrivals work.
- Sunday afternoon. A reset before the new week begins. Sunday is one of our calmer days, so walk-ins almost always get a private room within minutes.
- After a flight or long drive. Many guests come straight from LAX, John Wayne Airport, or a long road trip to undo travel stiffness.
- Day after a big workout. Warm oil helps flush soreness from a tough leg day or long run faster than a heating pad ever will.
- Birthday or anniversary. A 60 minute hot oil session for $60 is one of the most under-priced gifts you can give.
How to feel even better afterward
You will feel relaxed walking out the door. To get the most lasting benefit from a full body hot oil session:
- Drink water. Massage moves fluid through your body. A big glass of water before and after helps you feel less foggy.
- Skip the heavy meal right after. A light snack is fine, but a big steak dinner straight after a full body session can leave you sluggish.
- Take a warm shower at home. Even though our oil absorbs cleanly, a warm shower a few hours later feels great and removes any residue.
- Sleep early if you can. Many guests sleep deeper the night after a hot oil session, so going to bed an hour earlier than usual pays off.
- Stretch gently the next day. A few simple stretches help your loosened muscles stay loose longer.

What our regulars tell us
Most of our regular guests in La Habra and the surrounding cities tell us the same kinds of things, year after year. Three themes come up the most often:
- "It feels like a real local spot, not a chain." Because we are not a chain. We are a small studio with the same friendly therapists you see every visit.
- "The pricing is honest and stays the same." No surprise upsells, no service charges added at checkout, no membership pitch when you walk in.
- "I can just walk in after work." Open until 10 PM seven days a week means you do not need to plan a week ahead. Stop by when you need it.
If something about your visit is not perfect, please tell us at the front. We have built a local reputation on doing things the right way, and we want every guest to leave better than they walked in. Friendly faces from La Habra, Brea, Fullerton, Whittier, and La Mirada keep coming back, and that is the highest compliment our small team can earn each week, every season, every year.
An hour of warm oil and quiet is the cheapest therapy you can buy in La Habra.
